Robert Harms Bliss is an attorney in Dallas, Texas, specializing in commercial landlord-tenant law and real property litigation. He is board certified in civil trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is also an attorney-mediator and arbitrator. Mr. Bliss received his B.A. from the University of Colorado, Boulder, Colorado, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law, Austin, Texas. While at the University of Texas School of Law, Mr. Bliss was a Quizmaster, a Teaching Quizmaster, a Senior Teaching Quizmaster, and received the Outstanding Teaching Quizmaster Award. Mr. Bliss is a member of the American College of Real Estate Attorneys, is Past Chair of the Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, is past Chairman of the Real Property Section of the Dallas Bar Association and is Chair of the Leasing Subcommittee of the Real Estate Forms Committee of the State Bar of Texas. He is listed in Who’s Who in America, Who's Who in American Law and was recently selected by Texas Lawyer as a one of the five top-notch real estate lawyers in the State of Texas. Texas Monthly Magazine has named him one of  Texas' Super Lawyers. Mr. Bliss is a frequent speaker and author on commercial landlord-tenant matters in addition to legal ethics and alternative dispute resolutions. He has published over fifty papers on such matters as commercial landlord-tenant law, ethics in real estate transactions, methods of alternative dispute resolution and computer technology in modern law practice.
